With this high quality resolution, every detail will be captured with clear precision, assuring you that nothing will be left to question.
The 4K difference
Your new 4K resolution cameras record 4× the amount of pixels as compared to a 1080p security camera. This means that while a 1080p camera records at a pixel ratio of 1920 × 1080 (2,073,600 pixels), this 4K security camera records at a pixel ratio of 3840 × 2160 (8,294,400 pixels). This translates into much better quality video, especially when you need to digitally zoom in on particular details such as facial features. This is because there are simply more pixels available, so details will remain legible for longer as the digital zoom is applied.
Long range color night vision
Rest assured that these security cameras will protect your property even after the sun goes down. See up to 130ft / 40m away or up to 90ft / 27m away in total darkness with your camera's IR night vision range. With the help of exterior lights, you will also receive extra details that can help identify intruders or disturbances with Color Night Vision™ (CNV).*
*It is important to note that CNV requires ambient light - the camera will typically switch to black and white infrared night vision if the area is too dark.
Listen-in audio
All of your security cameras have built-in microphones that can help provide additional information in case an event or intrusion occurs on your property.* This valuable feature is instrumental in providing extra evidence, such as voices. Having audio will also expand your security coverage beyond the camera's field of view, so even when something happens off-camera, you may still gain some additional information.

HEVC / H.265 compression
Your cameras use industry leading H.265 (High Efficiency Video Compression, H.265 or MPEG-H Part 2) compression, which will help reduce video sizes and save valuable hard drive space. HEVC encoding helps compress 4K video files without losing the 4K video quality.
Power-over-Ethernet installation
This professional grade security system does not require a professional technician for installation. This is thanks to Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology. Both your NVR and security cameras are equipped with PoE ports. So all that is required to connect them is a single ethernet cable. This cable not only provides the video transmission but also supplies power to the camera, so you can install your cameras where you need them most without the need to have a power outlet nearby.

Lorex web client available
Lorex Client 13 gives you access to your security system and its settings over the Internet using a PC or Mac computer. With this software, you will be able to view live and recorded video, as well as save manual recordings and snapshots to your computer's hard drive.
