The slider cam enables smooth movement along a long track for medium-sized camera rigs. Smooth camera movement is an intriguing element to add to shots that
might include the shallow depth of field allowed by DSLR video cameras. The track can be configured in different setups-it can mount to a pair of tripods (with heads
that have 3/8"-16 screws) for higher-up shots. Or it can sit on the floor or on a table, mounted on a pair of props that are included with the slider cam. The feet of
the props can be adjusted vertically via their thumbscrews.
